This line tracks the same Eurostat enterprise-AI-adoption survey used in the ranking chart, but follows Cyprus, Greece and the EU-27 average over time instead of ranking a single year. Eurostat has published four waves of this survey — 2021, 2023, 2024 and 2025 — there was no 2022 edition, so the line has a genuine gap rather than an interpolated point. Across those years the EU-27 average has climbed to 19.95% in 2025, driven largely by large member states; Cyprus and Greece have both grown but remain well below the EU-27 line, converging with each other more than with the bloc average. Read the movement as a stated change versus 2021, not as a badge — three intervals is too few for a reliable trend arrow.
